Ukrtower and MTS Ukraine sign first rent agreements of antennaplaces

UkrTower, Ukraine’s leading tower service provider company, today announced that it will supply  antenna spaces for the Ukranian mobile communication operator MTS Ukraine on the towers owned by UkrTower. MTS Ukraine is one of the largest mobile communication operator in Ukraine in terms of the number of subscribers and coverage area, installs its antennas on UkrTower’s towers in West Region of Ukraine.

“The MTS Ukraine network covers the territory where more than 99% of the Ukrainian population. But we still search how to enhance the coverage area as well as how to reduce our operational and capital expenses. UkrTower’s proposal exactly meets both of our goals by allowing us to lease allocated space on existing and already on-air towers by sharing all kind of costs with other operators” said Kiril Dmitriev, Regional Director of West MTS Ukraine.

UkrTower’s site leasing and infrastructure sharing business model eliminates the initial investment costs for its customers, contributes to the reduction of environmental impacts, and also enables the efficient use of resources in Ukraine’s operation.
